right heres the deal im a lvl 9 ranger monk and i have a crappy ascalon bow 7-10 and +20%damange
should i have a new bow by now a better one or is that good enough?
if i need a new bow where can i get 1 ? or who has 1 i can use ? im willing to pay i have enough about 7.2k
im quite new to this game only had it about 3 days but i love it already lol
any help would be greatly appreciated

Where are you in the game? I have sen people spend quite a bit of time in pre-searing, while others have tried to move through the game at break neck speed. The reason I ask, is as you move through the game you will find regular drops of various bows of which many will be better than what you got. Sure you can buy one from someone in game, but unless you are someplace in the game where you are doing very little damage to the mobs, I would wait until a better one dropped.

right am not in pre-searing im in old ascalon i cnt remember the name of the town im in.

if you are in an area where you NEED something better it usually drops after a while

chech the specs on collector bows in your area for another indicator

nothing wrong with collector items except sometimes the looks

if your in post searing - wonder around the explorable zones because there are collector NPC's all throughout the game 9as there were in pre-searing too). These collectors can and will provide good weapons, shields, focii, armor..

Like just outside sardalec.. err can't remember the name, it's where the monestry used to be ... there's a collector who gives out a Diessa Shocking Flatbow (or Ascalon bow? can't remember) that does 9-13 lightening damage..

My advice is avoid buying from players, at least for now. Too many player sold bows and other stuff is being sold for too much gold... and you likely don't have the gold anyways. Rely on collector weapons and drops. If you ever find yourself struggling to do damage, backtrack a bit and re-check the collectors.. you might have missed one which had an upgraded bow for you..
